[Info] Remote Access Tools & Pixera
Dear Pixera users, as many of you might use a remote access tool like teamviewer in combination with Pixera we want to let you know that this is affecting the performance and can lead to dropped frames/lagging. Example Use Case: You have a permanent installation with pixera installed. As you are not...

Re: Control of Content Placement
Hi, if you don't want to transfer content to the master or client then you can completely deactivate the caching! There's a point File Distribution in the Pixera Settings. If you add your NAS to the list of available drives you have the ability to deactivate the checkbox for Master-Caching and Clien...

Re: Controlling audio levels
Hi Mark, the audio in Pixera is handled like a video content. That means the following: If you mute a layer, the whole audio on the layer is muted instantly. If you change the opacity on the layer you are changing the volume on that layer. So if you take a look into the latest api documentation, you...

Re: Working with Live Inputs and the API
Hi, well, adding a live input to a layer is possible as it's handled like a normal video/picture resource. With the following command you can add a live input resource (as example) to a layer: {"jsonrpc":"2.0", "id":23, "method":"Pixera.Compound.assignRes...

Re: Avio Refresh
Hi Dave,
unfortunately there is no possibility to force avio to update faster and more consistently.
The only option which comes into my mind is to build your own lua script with a timer where you specify yourself when the values should be updated.

Re: Avio Play Audio File
Hi Kevin, I've tried the audio feature out right now but didn't come across your issue, so here a few things you could check: Is the "Configure Audio files" enabled in the Avio Service? Did you installed the added audio file? It must be in the "Installed Audio Files" section, oth...

Re: CmDongle runtime system not installed !
Hi kaila, it seems that the CmDongle driver is missing to correctly recognize the dongle from Notch. The dongle driver is included in Notch itself, so please try to download Notch (at least as trial) and then the dongle driver get's installed automatically. The reason is that Pixera needs a dongle t...

Re: Remote Control Solution for Show editing
Hi Ben, yes, unfortunately that's not an option yet but will definitely come in the future! RDP on Wings Engines is not recommended as you have learned already on the bad way. It "deactivates" the dongle and some features which the wings engine gui needs per default. That's also the reason...
