Re: Alpha Proxies and normal VP9

As you assumed, currently you have to choose between those "Preview Presets" so there is no way to create your own presets. But can you let me know the background why you want to convert your alpha videos especially to ProRes ?  Because VP9 is also capable of handling alpha. So if you have a video w...

Re: Control of Content Placement

Well, your current workflow is correct! It can be the case that the options in file transfer are not set right. With deactivated Master Caching you shouldn't get these RX-Cache folder and then it should work well. By the way, in the current beta version you can also try out a feature called "Bundle ...

Re: Parallel Conversion Tasks

Well, the maximum number of parallel conversion tasks is not a variable. It doesn't adjust to how many cores/threads you have in your pc setup. For now this number is "just set" to 5 as maximum in Pixera but we can discuss that number internally to adjust it further. But normally all the cores shoul...

Re: API Pause Timeline reset time to zero

Dear lexalexalexa,

thanks for your report!
I've tried out the "Pause" command (parameter 2) with version 1.0.20 and 1.0.42 but unfortunately I can't reproduce that issue.
Can you please try it out in the latest release and also let us know the exact string which you are sending ?
Thanks!

Re: Pixera API Documentation

Unfortunately currently there are no examples available.
But we are looking forward to create a list in the future.
In the meantime it's the best if you can use the JSON/TCP examples.

Re: Opacity issue if Z not zero

Sorry for the late reply!
Yes, finally it was possible to reproduce the issue!
I've informed the developers already and they are taking a look.

We will let you know when it's finally solved.
Thank you for the report!  ;)

Re: Client caching turned off.

Well, there is also an option for that  ;)
As example if you create a new folder for all your content, then just click on the folder itself in the "Ressources" tab.
Then you can see some general distribution options for that specific folder.

Re: Client caching turned off.

Hi mirko, if you click on your imported video file there are some distribution options visible. So if you click on the video file in the ressources you will see some informations and options in the inspector on the right side. If you scroll down, the two clients and also the Local PC should be visib...

Re: Connecting Director with Pixera Mini

That sounds great!  Well, if there's nothing connected to the PX mini physically and also no edid was loaded then it's a normal state that you can't playout (see anything in the output selection). So either you connect a physical source to it so that the graphic card notice an edid or you load one f...
