hello, I'm very new to pixera. However, I have 10 years of dataton experience. I have a few questions. Our company bought 4 vioso servers (connected 30 projection 18x6 led screen) for a project and they are planning to buy pixera as control software.  My first question is, I want to use another pc to control the servers, is it correct that a separate key is required (director license). My second question is, do I need to install a separate software for the client server (like production and display software in the dataton)..Or is it enough to install Pixera on vioso server and start it automatically(via pixera hub).  I don't have a key at the moment but i will have it to try 2 server at same time.I think that if I get 8 outputs from the master server and try to control other servers, I will have trouble. Because the contents will be 8k resolution for each server. Thank you for your help in advance.

Hi Bambam,
Ill try to give a couple of answers:

My first question is, I want to use another pc to control the servers, is it correct that a separate key is required (director license).
>Yes. Or you use one of the servers as master AND playout. Keepnmg in mind performance backdraws.

My second question is, do I need to install a separate software for the client server
>You run the Pixera installer on botch PCs. At the first start you will be asked for the license key that belongs to the dongle. Copy and paste it in here. If you have no PDF with the license key that you can copy it from ask your purchaser to get that. YOu do not want to type the code.

On the master you run Pixera.exe
On the client you run presence.exe. You will find presence.exe in your installation folder right here:
C:\Program Files\AV Stumpfl\Pixera\build_1-8-142\presence

And yes you can do that via Hub but you will need to run pixera.exe on master and presence.exe on client
