Opacity issue if Z not zero
When using the layer stack order to place content in front of each other opacity functions as you expect, the content becomes transparent and you can see the content behind (below) coming through.
However if you use a Z position to set the content order then rather than become transparent it fades to black. A zero opacity resulting in a black square in front of the behind content.
Is this a bug or something we’re missing?

Hi,
thanks for the report.
Can you let us know in what version do you have in use ?
Because I tried it out now in the latest release (1.0.15) and can't reproduce that - the layer always get's transparent.

I’m not in the office for a few days but will do so on my return.
I have been finding the issue intermittent unfortunately.

Ok, fine!
Just post it if you are back in the office again - hopefully we can reproduce it then.

I've attached a video here showing the problem.
I will email the project files as funnily enough an AVP file is not a valid extension for this forum!
Basically the issue appears if you place a screen in spatial mode.
Move the content layer BELOW another but then bring the content itself back in front with Z value.

Okay, thanks for the explanation! I'll try that out.
I've allowed the .avp extension now in the forum rules - great hint!
Maybe you can try to upload your project again.
Thanks!
